This is a relatively early package of recording of Ray Charles, at a time was Charles was shedding his background, but very aware of it. It features, aside from Charles, James Wayne, Arbee Stidham and Lil Son Jackson in some rare blues vocalizations and tunes. The entire LP relates totally to Charles and his roots.
