Dusty Groove Review
Laidback and soulful piano work from Reggie Moore -- a surprisingly nice little record, although not as funky as most of the Mainstream Records output at the time. The group features acoustic and Fender bass -- and it's the use of electric bass that really makes some of the tunes sparkle. Moore's touch is both heavy and fluid -- and there's an overall approach that really makes for a lot of nice moments that kind of sit right in the middle of the soul jazz piano tradition. Titles include "Little Tracy", "Furioso", "Collage", "Consider Her Ways", and "Where Is The Love".
